Jim counted on being able to play tennis again after his hip surgery. With the anterior approach, he was back in his game sooner than he imagined. Jim's surgeon, Dr. Eric Grossman, likes the anterior approach to hip surgery because it doesn't involve the extensive hip restrictions required after regular hip replacement surgery.
