Lateral Extra-Articular Iliotibial Band Tenodesis

Lateral extra-articular iliotibial band tenodesis (LET), is a technique by which the IT band is harvested and passed under the LCL and fixed to the femur. This surgery, in conjunction with ACL surgery, can potentially reduce the retear rate and decrease pivoting symptoms.
