Hip Arthroscopy: Sciatic Nerve Release

by American Hip Institute Research Foundation | 12 years ago

Endoscopic release of the sciatic nerve due to piriformis syndrome. The patient complained of a shootting pain down the leg. She failed conservative treatment including physiotherapy and epidural injections. However, she had a good response to local anesthetic injection around the piriformis muscle.
