Cervical Laminectomy

A cervical laminectomy is a spine surgery done from the back of the neck to relieve pressure on the spinal cord and nerves. It involves carefully removing the bony roof of the spinal canal where the spinal cord lives, as well as any abnormal tissue that is causing the compression.
